Over the span of 15+ years, MG has helped over 50 customers build and execute value-based pricing capabilities spanning software, travel, retail, industrial & process manufacturing, distribution, high-tech and online advertising.
Based on his broad range of pricing and software experience, MG recognised that although software companies are considered the darlings of innovation, their pricing practices lag a decade behind other industries. To address this gap, he founded mgpricing in 2017 to focus on value-based packaging and pricing for SaaS businesses.
A dozen pricing projects later, it was clear SaaS businesses also had a significant gap in their value-selling skills & infrastructure that was limiting them from realising their pricing potential. So, MG’s long-time colleague and SaaS sales veteran, Alex Smith, joined MG to build out their value-selling practice.
Today, mgpricing is a 10-person consulting and tech team helping software and platform companies realise their monetisation potential through value-packaging, pricing, selling and customer success utilising consulting, data science and our innovative customer value management platform.
